words of anger, a little voice.
Teardrops fell like bits of rain:
Little cries in a pillow made:
Angry words have caused the pain:
happiness a wish, a moment to trade.

Another room just down the hall:
a mother sits deep in thought:
silence echoes off the wall:
words she spoke were never taught.

Now little feet on carpet trod:
On a little face a line of worry:
Lets spare the child and toss the rod:
Mommy hear me I am sorry.

Bended knees upon the rug:
Arms out stretched for her boy:
Wrapped in close a gentle hug:
smiles now a moments joy.

A gentle kiss upon the head:
a finger moves the silken hair:
Now safely tucked in his bed:
guarded now with angels care.
