Based on "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare.
Pompey is past
but what has Rome gained
Only a tyrannical mast
in skies where democracy once reigned

Plebeians celebrate death
of a man they once revered
Replacing his breath
is a man who is insincere

Yet still they nearly worship him
erecting monuments for his "vindication"
Hail Caesar they cry; as if children acting on whim
Then a few come to take note of this abomination

Realizing that this rule must come to an end
They set out to advance history's most unwelcome trend.
