She sits alone on the couch
Wrapped in an old wool blanket
Gazing towards the sky
she sees the moon

She craves to be the moon
Limitless, adored, and free

She feels tied down
Ignored, a slave
A slave to her family
A slave to her job
A slave to the world

She wants to feel
She needs to feel

Limitless, adored, and free
