When it all goes wrong, what do you do? Do you stay and try and fix it or run away?
You showered me with promises,
But I'm drenched in wounds.
You threw words of love,
But they caught me like knifes.

A broken photo frame
Hides shattered smiles.
I could try and fix the pieces,
But would surely slice my fingers?

Wading through beer cans,
I find our stale room,
Take your hoodies in a bag
And turn my back on us.

I need to be strong,
Want a clean break,
But must take your smell;
As my clothes don't hide the bump.

You'll never find me.
You used me; used me up.
But she won't be like me,
Hell won't be called home.
