After a boy becomes fed up with being in mental jail, school, he sets out to fight back.
It was a normal, boring day at school. Brandon had just got his folder taken away from his mean teacher, Ms. Nelson. This was no ordinary folder. It had his comics and books he had made himself for 3 years. Having his personal property taken and read by a teacher was invasion of his privacy. This wasn’t right for a teacher to be mean anyway. The rest of the S.D.A, his anti-school group, would soon rebel against this powerful move. Thinking of his attack, he went off to 4th hour, Mr. Thompson.

While there, Brandon suddenly had a paper shoved in his face. The despicable teacher yelled “You must do this, and do it now!” Having no respect for this hideous being, Brandon said, “I don’t agree with what you are saying.” Mr. Thompson went on a short temper. “You are being very rude, as you must do your work and none less!” “Why are you shouting at me? This goes to show you are immature and can’t handle criticism.” Brandon replied. “Stop back chatting!” Mr. Thompson yelled. “I am not back chatting, I’m only voicing my own opinion and it’s my right to do so.” “It is not! I am a teacher, you are not!” “I respect that you disagree. But since I respect your opinion, you should respect mine, too.” “You have no privilege to say your own opinion!” Mr. Thompson repeated. “Says who?” Brandon asked. Mr. Thompson knew Brandon would win this talk-fight. He can’t admit defeat like that, so with sudden rage, the teacher slapped Brandon across the face. The class stared in astonishment. A kid, David, spoke up. “You can’t let him do that!” “I won’t,” Brandon said, pushing back emotion. He got up and went to the door. “Where do you think you’re going?” Mr. Thompson shouted. “Out of here,” Brandon replied. He lunged out the door and made a run for it. “Get back here, B word!” Mr. Thompson yelled. He ran after him, too.

Brandon galloped down the hall as fast as he could. He knew his energy supply is always short, so it’s better to hide than run. He looked behind him, and saw the evil dark figure running in a goofy but serious fashion. “Come here and do your work!” The voice echoed. “Leave me alone! Just leave me in peace!” Brandon yelled. He knew with his life he couldn’t get far. But he managed to get outside and down the stairs. To be the honest, Brandon had never been so scared. Running to the school gate was his ticket out of here, out of this prison. However, the fence is high, and he never jumped a fence that high. As he reached the gate, Mr. Thompson was still in full energy. Brandon had no choice. He climbed the fence for dear life, and actually got across. On the other side, Brandon looked at Mr. Thompson on the other side like a zoo animal. He laughed. “You’re no match for a kid!” He said in happiness. “You better not leave here!” Mr. Thompson screamed. He had no Walkie-talkie with him. Even if he did get to the main office, Brandon would have been in the middle of town by then. But then they will send police to search. They had no need for that. Brandon was only going home, but they still have no care. They only want Brandon’s face in front of a paper with writing on it. Even so, they still won’t give him respect. They are probably on drugs, Brandon thought. He turned around and to the school’s main street. “Adios!” He said happily. Turning back, Mr. Thompson was gone. He must have gone to security. Brandon has never been in a big neighborhood by himself, so he has to act fast. He has no idea how to go home, but he looks out the window on his bus, memorizing the streets, so he has to try his best. He walked through the town, looking for a way out.

Back in the classroom, the class was muttering amongst themselves. Jade, a girl in the class, was asking the other classmates what they think will happen next. “He’s been having this anger building up since the first day of preschool, he told me,” David said. “I think that he could survive at least a few hours,” Jade Replied. When the guidance Counselor, Ms. Byrd walked in, the class grew silent. Ms. Byrd was always negative and all in it for herself. She once “accidentally” pounced over and on Brandon’s legs to grab a kid near the top of the gym’s bleachers who was fighting with another. She never really apologized. As the class stared at her, they knew she would take over. Everyone seemed to hate her for years. But as she walked in, the stupidest kid in class, Jesse, made a remark of his own. “He won’t make it. He is stupid and weak and dumb.” Everyone turned toward him with frowns.

Scouting the town for his apartments, Brandon thought ahead. He could hide in the dense trees if administrators or police arrived. Then he heard a voice. “Where is this B word? I want him in my class now!” He also heard Ms. Nelson’s voice. “I have your folder!” He knew that’s just a trap. He was far more intelligent then that, even when he didn’t put his mind to his work. He then heard voices getting louder. Uh-oh. He continued to a familiar street. He had a challenge. That was to survive until night, where he could slip undetected. But night had it’s own worries. It would be harder to see. At his point of exhaustion after an hour, his phone rang. “Hello?” “Brandon, where are you?” his Mom asked. “Mom, I need you to pick me up and bring me home.” He told his mother the place he was at. Mom refused to pick him up, as she was just going to bring him back to school, which had seemed like Heck to him. Mom was very sick today, and had to rely on the teachers to search for him. Brandon was now getting worried. After his talk with mom, he thought that they would call his Dad. But they couldn’t, as they didn’t know his number.

Then it was nightfall. Looking around, Brandon saw the school again. He had gone in circles. But something told him that he could use this to his advantage. Teachers know he hated school, and would never suspect he’d return.

In the new pitch-black, he tiptoed to the side of the building, near Ms. Nelson’s window. Suddenly, he bumped into something, or someone. It was his friend Jamie from his old school, from last year. “What the? Jamie? What are you doing here? I thought you were at a different school!” He whispered in a loud tone. “I’m surprised to see you,” Jamie said. “I tend to get out of my house a lot, and this time my instincts led me to the right place.” Jamie has always been thought to be psychic. “I suspect a teacher took something, and you came to take it back?” she asked. “Right,” Brandon whispered. Jamie suddenly took a rope and pickaxe out of nowhere. “We’ll use this to get into the high window,” She said. Brandon was confused. “Where did you get… never mind.” The pickaxe was light enough to be thrown up to the window sill. Jamie climbed up, but Brandon was scared of going up a rope. He can barley get a good grip on it. Jamie helped pull him up while climbing, and in a flash, they made it.

The sill was just wide enough to hold them. Jamie got the window open, and climbed through. Brandon followed. The classroom was empty. Brandon turned on the lights. He instantly found the folder and some secret teacher files. He read them. They had something to with “student torture.” This could be a heads-up of what he should keep an eye out for. After reading it, he put it back and turned to Jamie. “Any thoughts on our plan of action?” he asked. “Look here!” She shouted. The bookshelves were moved and a hidden tunnel remained behind it. They gasped. The tunnel was wide, and lead underground. They climbed into it. After following it, they heard some voices. “No! We will get that B word and beat the crud out of him!” Brandon and Jamie looked through the small screen window. “Who is that?” Jamie whispered. Brandon told her the whole history behind the worst teachers in the school, which where all in this underground meeting. There was Ms. Nelson, Mr. Thompson, Ms. Byrd and several others, which looked pretty mean. There was even Mr. Corbin, the over-aged P.E Teacher. He knew he could never catch Brandon. He was too slow. Mr. Thompson continued. “I’m not afraid of the dark! I’m going right now!” He got up and darted to the screen window. Se spotted Brandon. “OH LOOK! HE IS THERE! GET HIM!” Brandon jumped up and ran out the tunnel with Jamie, and into the classroom. He and Jamie pushed the bookcase onto the hole, blocking the teacher mob. “This can’t hold them for long! Let’s go!” Jamie shouted. They ran through the long, dim hall for awhile, and they saw the teachers coming at them, but something wasn’t right. Mr. Thompson was holding something. He was holding a short, silver blade. Now, this was not for getting out of trouble, Brandon thought, this was for the sake of his own life! As they dashed through the hallway, Mr. Corbin was left behind, squirming for energy, but he could bare it no longer. He had a severe asthma attack. He dropped to the floor and died of exhaustion.

Brandon remembered the lesson his dad always told him. If someone attacks you, you must always defend yourself. Not only was he going to save his and Jamie’s life, he was now going to fight back. But he had never used a weapon before, but if it was to save him, he had to. He just needed to find a weapon. He got out to the school gate, only this time, there was like 5 teachers in the chase, not one. He had no time to climb the fence. He was now in panic. Suddenly, he felt an awkward feeling and a glow of light, and he was on the other side of the fence instantly. “Don’t tell anyone I could do that!” Jamie said. “Whoa!” Brandon yelled in awe. There was no time for celebrating, though. The teachers were climbing the fence! Brandon was now running for his life. He never thought that a teacher would actually try to kill him. While running, Brandon and Jamie found Brandon’s neighborhood. He happened to run into his cousin Ivan. He was a year younger then Brandon, but bigger than him. “Brandon, there you are!” He shouted. He had his Confederate States of America Uniform for Halloween. Ivan also had a CSA Sword with him. Brandon took it. “No time for games, the teachers will kill you!” Brandon yelled. Ivan saw the teachers. For the first time, Ivan was scared. Then, David and Jade appeared in a small crowd of onlookers! They must have heard the ruckus. Brandon was shocked when he then saw his old friend Shakeem. He was a sole member of the S.D.A. The next thing he knew, the whole town crowded around and circled the two groups. There was a dead end. Now there was Brandon, his friends, and the teachers. Mr. Thompson suddenly extended his knife. “You die now, B word!” He yelled. Brandon then saw his family looking at him from the two-story apartments. “Don’t hurt him, Brandon!” Mom yelled from her chair. “No! I’m tired of taking advice from a drama queen!” He yelled back. With his friends beside him, Brandon had confidence. He removed the sword from it’s case. He held it directly in front of his face, staring at his opponents. He had formed a new S.D.A. Then he spoke. “This ends… NOW!” He charged to the tiny army with the new School Detection Agency. There was suddenly bloody chaos as all Heck broke loose. Several teachers fell one after another, and Ivan took out Ms. Byrd with his 3-layered punch, which slammed into her skull. There was only Ms. Nelson and Mr. Thompson left in minutes. The other kids held off Mr. Thompson while Brandon confronted Ms. Nelson. In shock, she pleaded “Don’t hurt me! We can help you!” Brandon ignored her and pierced the sword right through her body. Her mouth dropped open. “By the way, I got my folder back.” Brandon said devilishly. He thrust the blade out of her body. She slowly dropped to her death. Brandon savored the moment. Now was Mr. Thompson’s turn to be slaughtered. While running towards him, He saw something that caught his eye. It was David. He was lying on the ground with blood all over him. Brandon knelt down. "How could he do this to you? I'm sorry I got you into this," he said. "No," David replied. "I was just helping." and with that, he took a last breath and died. The huge crowd was amazed by the violence before them. Some ran away in fear. “You killed him! How could you!?” Brandon yelled. “He was annoying!” The murderer said back. Brandon ran toward him. They where both clashing swords like pirates. Mr. Thompson then made an agile move. He twisted his machete around Brandon, and it slashed him in the face. This was like when he slapped him, only fifty times worse. Brandon fell back, his face gushing with blood and a faint yell of pain. He lay there in silence. Mr. Thompson grinned. “Now you are going to do my work in Heck, B word!” He said in victory. Everyone stared. Could the hero really have to die? But then, Brandon sat up, and managed to get to his feet, with the sword glued to his hand. He could have been mistaken as a zombie under his liquid red coat. He grumbled a few words. “You… I… I’LL FREAKING KILL YOU!!!” He slashed his sword constantly into Mr. Thompson’s abdomen. He grabbed him by the neck. “Listen to me! Listen to me! None of this would have happened if you would have just cleared the heck out of my way! You are a work-obsessed, cruel being who shouldn’t be here! You should’ve just left us alone, NOW DIE!!!” He sliced his head off with no warning. There was silence. An ambulance arrived and took Brandon to the hospital, unaware of the red marsh they where walking on. A full month later, Brandon returned home to his apartments. Everyone swarmed out of their houses and hugged him in a mob. Everyone cheered and jumped for joy. Even police arrived and said they were scared of teachers, and congratulated him. The mob carried him off into the distance.

No teacher dared to mess with him again.
