this poem is about the loss of true love
When I am first gone
Regard not my Death-Grin
    as a finished frown,
Rather the Reaper's fashion
( a chilling twin )
In memory of you long
    above the living ground.

When you are first gone
My death be quite sudden
    as silence to sound,
And only dust to ration
The earthen quick.
But alas, the eternal song
    to which I am bound
Plays long for your passion
Long after I'm gone ....
