A piece of poetry I wrote for my english coursework.
You begged me, no, in fact you cried,
I saw your face, I almost died,
The pain drove me to suicide,
To know our souls could not collide.

My heart was black; your heart was white,
I always knew that you were right,
And so I had that bloody fight,
And killed a creature of the night.

Take my hand and let me sleep,
Close your eyes and I won't weep,
If you say the world will keep,
And fall with me in shadows deep.
