This is where I started
It's always been my dream since childhood to have a best friend. A best friend. Just the one. The one you can really rely on and relies on you back. The one you can share all your stories with, even when she/he doesn't like it. The one you just couldn't wait to tell your secrets to, and knows for sure that they're safe. The one who tells you his/her every secret. The one who's there all along your journey of life. Now, that I've grown, I realized I need to lower my standards. For example, maybe not just "A Best Friend", maybe it's better be some best friends. I don't think I can possibly find just one person with qualities above. I know myself couldn't be that perfect. There's always doubts in a friendship. Sometimes you just hate a friend's stories. And I do have some secrets I'd like to keep myself. Also, I have things to do rather than always there for a best friend. See, with some best friends, you'll have back-up. And since the world goes crazier lately, even a stuff could be your best friend. Your diary, your computer, your cell-phone, your mp3 player, your car. Oh, but don't forget pets. They could be considered as best friend too, even if you couldn't possibly always know what they're talking about.
But now, I think I've found someone who I'd be best friend with. I do think I would always be there for this one. Any stories from this one would be wonderful. And altough I'd still like to keep some of my secrets myself, I don't mind sharing them with this one as our life goes on. I'm almost sure there's a word for this feelings. Oh yes, I believe it's the word called Love......
