This is the alternitive side to "Unsteay Feet" it does not end well, (mature content)
The Stars
A girl lies broken on the floor,
Her tears wash down her face,
She doesn’t know what she’s done wrong
To deserve his spite.

The bruises brand, her pale skin,
The burden of his pain,
Her secret wounds her to the bone,
But in fear she doesn’t say.

She feels as though she’s trapped,
In a cage of iron bars,
And he’s in there with her,
Cornering her against the wall.

He offers her his hand,
But in the gesture of an act,
He tells her "Honey it will be all alright",
But is a hidden message he would say,

She dreams that she could run,
She dreams that she could fight,
But in her heart she knows,
That she could never escape the pain.

She looks upon the stars for guidance,
And wonders what they'd say,
If they had a voice and an echo to match,
What would they whisper her to do.

In her head she see’s his fists,
That caused her to be here,
Then her own Father walks into the room,
And raises his hands once more.

She cries out for a saviour,
And crawls towards the door,
He lets out a roar of surprise,
And reaches after her.

She doesn’t believe she’ll ever make it,
So she doesn’t even try,
She slumps to the ground in a twisted mess,
Unable to continue, without even ever starting.

He grasps her, cold and hard,
Her struggles feeble against his strength,
And the monster’s out of hiding,
From hiding in plain sight.

She doesn’t know any better,
So she’s given up the fight,
She can only wish that it would soon be over,
So she could return to living a lie.

She wears her armour of stolen happiness,
Just to mask the ache,
She wished he wouldn’t hurt her,
But stars aren’t out just yet.
