The Never Ending Questions

Who are you to tell me of the world?
Who are you to sit there and judge me from your pedestal?
Who are you to make me cry?

I tried to help you, support you, and most of all love you.
Why couldn’t you see that?
Your harsh words cut into my heart like a knife.
I never wanted to hurt you, but now you hurt me without a second thought.

Why can’t you see the downward spiral you are sending me to?
Why do you want to see me self-destruct?
Do you revel in my pain?

No one has made me cry since I was young.
So why were you able to do it so easily?

I think I know why.
I think it was because I loved you.
What kind of fool am I?
