The Short Story of my Life, and the memento from a pleading dead mother.
My Pocket Watch Lullaby

The terror of memory.
A family ripped apart,
First happy.
Mom, dad, brother, sister
The support they showed.
As I wined my pocket watch back in time,
It plays my mothers voice,
Her sweet lullaby.
We left for peace and freedom.
This new found land of lies.
I feel wrong supporting those who fought for this country.
A family killed,
A sister murdered.
This court ended my lullaby.
They drove my mother to the black,
Suicide.
Tears of pain turn to habit.
My father in hails himself to his final bed.
But back to the start,
My family torn.
God divided us.
Gave us false families.
Brother, and me deceived.
Not remembering the lost,
A real family.
Now I remember,
But it is lost.
All that’s left is me and brother.
Alone at last,
But this is the end.
All is lost,
So in cold memory of my true family.
I wined my watch,
To hear the story.
Shedding what little tears left,
Each night of my life.
My pocket watch lullaby,
A story of my life.
