a pessimistic poem to read wen upset
Nowadays my inner solitude often envelopes me

And I’m drowned in an ocean of thoughts

The thoughts which I fear

The ones I run away from

Stand there naked staring at me.

At that moment I wish

I truly wish

I could come up to the surface

But the chains of loneliness bind me

Prohibit me from becoming homogeneous with the world

Homogeneity is the drug

I’m addicted to but lack

Sometimes I feel I am nobody

Nobody whom one could ever look up to

Or pay homage

The homage which is my dream,

My dream which will remain unfulfilled

Along with all the other aspirations and hopes

For even when I retire

Retire from this World

I will as I m today remain a nobody.
