The second part to the original purple sunshine.
Instead of a kiss
you stared into my round brown eyes
making me forget all your cheating and lies
forcing me to see no matter what you did
i would love you until the end

While we held our gaze
i looked up at you in a daze
and simply replied
Whats a purple sunshine?

You ever so softly told me
a purple sunshine
is nothing to be taken for granted
or to play with
and nothing to hurt

When you see it
you know its special
nothing superficial
you just want to stare
and hope it never leaves

Its one of the prettiest things in the world
and you my girl
are purple sunshine

When i looked back up
just to make sure i wasnt dreaming
i saw the tears in his eye
then his tatoo design
i kew from then on
no matter what he did
i would always
want to be his
purple sunshine
