I had a friend
long ago who'd
do anything for
me not to go

She loved me
so but I knew
the truth is
that God called to me

We were sad
my friend and I
but we stayed strong
all month long

Spending day by day
not caring what
others said
we did what we wanted

Answered to no one
we just had
so much fun
Drinking and smoking

Everyday and night
Partying it up living
the life for a whole month

Nows shes up there
and I'm down here
I miss her so much each and every year
