A palette of shame across your skin

Manifestations of imagined sins.

Your justification of past wrongs

A child's penance for not being strong.



The years have passed and still you seek

answers to questions no one will speak.

Little girl no longer but still lost

Wanting to know, regardless the cost.



No longer alone my Sister Soul

perhaps together we'll learn to be whole.
