The freak of the show entertains and simply smiles, hiding the pain within his heart.
The unfortunate one,
He watches them silently
With wonder and awe,
Hidden behind red curtains.
The crows goes wild and
The show begins tonight.

The fool is alone,
On centre de stage.
He sings, entertains
And makes himself the
Centerpiece of sorts,
The freak of the show.

They all laugh and stare,
"What is that thing," Boy says.
He does not understand
None of them do.
They cannot see the broken
heart and shattered soul,
As the freak simply smiles
And he whispers,
"The show must go on."
