Walking with God day by day

Walking with God day by day
Talking with God moment by moment
Sharing each and every precious minute

Every joy and every sorrow
For sorrow there must be
But after every sorrow, will come joy

Letting God hear what's on my heart and mind
Keeping no secrets from my Lord and my God
Focusing on getting to know Him better and better

Being in His Word everyday
Praying for His wisdom and guidance
Standing firm on His promises

Internalizing His promises
Of His peace and presence and provision
Allowing Him to write them on my heart

Never really feeling of being totally alone
Enjoying the silence and solitude
Letting my soul and spirit commune with my Creator

Thanking God for all His goodness and blessings
For family and friends, health and vocation
For opportunities to serve Him and others

To live an honest life, one of integrity
To do what I say and say what I do
To give godly counsel, to set an example

All of these things I could not do alone
Or by my own strength
But all by and through His grace and His strength

I am totally dependent on my Heavenly Father
Whose been cultivating a sensitivity in me
To the promptings of the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, Come !!
