If today you ruled the world,

What kind of leader would you be?

A Hitler of a Stalin?

A Lincoln or Gandhi?

Would you wipe out all your foes?

Take them out of sight?

Or would you have mercy and compassion,

And not deny them of their rights?



If today you ruled the world,

What kind of leader would you be?

A Hussein, perhaps a Castro?

Or a King or Kennedy?

Would you feast on gluttonous meals?

Such ham that you would carve,

But is that really fair,

While other people starve?



If today you ruled the world,

What kind of leader would you be?

A Jong Il or a Bashir?

A Churchill or Carnegie?

Would you splurge on things you wanted?

Like cars, and gold, and jewels?

While countries all around the world,

Don’t have even decent schools?



If today you ruled the world,

What kind of leader would you be?

A Bonaparte or Lenin?

A Chavez or a Winfrey?

Would you pick your wars at random?

Never fight for what is true?

Or would you stand for truth and justice,

Whenever it is due?
