A fantasy poem about a Siren and her apprentice, I'm not very good at poetry though =P
Siren Song--

I knew a Desert Rose,
She taught me how to sing.
A melody of sorrow
And the pain it could bring.

She saved me once,
Then left me alone,
But I still remember,
The oasis in her tone.

I felt her grab me by the hand,
As she taught me how to dance,
I’m not alone, no, she’s brought me home.
My home lost in the sand.

But soon my Desert Rose did fade,
With the winter she was gone.
Still, I won’t forget,
How she sang, her Siren song.
