He may be gone, but the memories remain
Don’t say anything just yet,
Wait a little while,
Think of our memories,
I know you’ll start to smile

Remember our first fight,
When I cried for days,
And then when you hugged me,
All my fears went away

Think of our first kiss,
As we rolled on the floor,
The butterflies in my stomach
Suddenly flew out the door

I liked when you told me,
You didn’t want me to leave,
Then held me close,
And you were all I could see

Every detail of what we were,
No matter how small,
Seems to haunt me today,
I remember them all

You mean the world to me,
Don’t tell me you forget,
We’re perfect for each other
Don’t say a word just yet.
