People hurt the earth with magic they use.
People hurt the earth with magic they use. But they didn't know. No one knew about the earth's suffering. No one wanted to learn, tried to hear the earth's moaning. She's crying alone, hurt because of those ignorant people. Still, she loved them and give them her best. But she's almost reach her limit.

In a village, when the moon was high, there were two guys walk slowly in silent. It seemed like they didn't want to be found. They walked slowly to the outside of the village. They walked in the shadow of the trees. Didn't want to be seen by every curious and furious eyes.

They walked toward the forest and kept walking in silent to the core of the forest. No voices were heard, just their breath and steps.

"Noah, do you think they will find us?" asked the guy who walk in the behind.

The other guy who walked in the front stop and face the smaller guy behind him. He smiled even if he doubt that the other guy could see it. But for him, he could see the other guy quite clear. A smaller and tinier than him, less muscular and pretty, with a messy black hair and jet black eyes, small lips and slightly pointed nose.

He touched the other guy's lips with his thumb and caressed it gently, "I don't think they have noticed our disappearance. We're so careful when sneak out. But we've got to be hurry to the core." Noah looked at the sad and worried face of the other guy. He approached him more and hug him. "Are you not happy with this, Van?" asked Noah.

Van tighten his hug and bury his face on Noah chest, "No, I'm happy with this... it's just sad... but it's okay .... I'll get my strength to get over it.... so it's okay..."

Noah smiled and asked Van to walk. Van agree and they continued their walk toward the core.

The darkness of the night surround them, but Noah didn't try to make a light with his magic. It's just didn't feel right if he used it. Then they arrived at a clearing. In the center of the clearing, there was a small tree but according to the legend, that small tree was the oldest.

"We've arrived to the core." whisper Van.

They walked toward the tree. The moon and the stars were shown clearly in the clear night sky. They illuminated the clearing and especially, the tree. The tree seemed like glowing elegantly. A beautiful and solemn moment. Then in that solemn moment, the guys walked slowly in solemn pace.

Then few steps in front of the tree, they sat down and prayed for the God in the emptiness of the universe. They wished for a strenght to face the obstacle in their about to start journey. According to the believed of the villager, the tree of the core, the oldest tree, was a place where the energy of nature were strongest around there and the stronger the energy, the easier to connect with the emptiness.

They suddenly heard sound of flapping wings. It's loud and seemed like come from a giant wings. They stood and looked above. Then their body tremble, a giant winged creature fly above them and it came down in front of them.

The creature had black scales on the whole body, long neck, pointed face without ears, two fangs come out from its mouth, but a deep black wise eyes. The boys couldn't move their body in fear and amazed in front of the scary and beautiful creature.

“My Descendant…” Noah heard voice in his had.

Noah looked at the creature, "Are you talking to me?" asked him.

"Yes, my descendant..."

Van looked at Noah, he's confused, "Noah, are you talking to it?"

"... yes, can you hear the voice inside your head?" Noah couldn't turn his gaze away from those deep black eyes.

"No, I can't ..." said Van

"You the only one I can talk to... but if he touch you, he can hear it too... I have something important to tell the two of you." said the creature

Noah, hold Van's hand firmly, "What is it?" asked him to the creature.

"My Descendant, the sorcerer of the Dragon clan, the earth is dying."

"Dying.... you mean the earth will die?" asked Van suddenly.

"Yes, the earth will die and the life on the surface of the earth will be vanished."

Noah tighten his hold of Van's hand, "Why? And are you Dragon?"

"I'm a Dragon and you have a lot of question inside your head, but we don't have time. The earth's dying because of magic people use. It hurt the earth little by little and now, when a lot of people use it, the earth is dying."

Van looked down, sad and anxious. He though about people in the village. He hated them like they hated his relationship with Noah. But he still had precious memories with some of them. Then his family... and Noah... all will be vanished soon enough.

"How can we prevent it? You come to us not only to give us the news, don't you?" asked Noah.

"Yes, it can be prevent when the flow of magic in the air is pressed. And it can be done when I'm sealed."

"How to seal you?" asked Noah.

"I can be sealed with the heart of my descendant.... I don't want to waste time because the earth will die soon enough. I need the human boy to kill you, my descendant and I will enter your heart then the heart will become one with his and he should live and regenerate to keep the seal."

Van looked at the creature, sad, hopeless and angry. Noah didn't say a thing. Just tighten his hold.

"What if we said that we didn't care what happen to the earth and anybody else. When we die, we'll be together." said Van angry.

"Are you really have the heart to do it? I don't think you have heart to see a child that didn't know anything can't breath and die suddenly. A pregnant women who wish to see her child, die with dream she can't reach, and think why do this have to happen. Your family... Are you really have the heart to ignore them?"

The guys couldn't speak, they knew that the Dragon was right. They know what will happen, so they could be ready for it. But how about the other? And their family.

"We'll do that." said Noah and looked at Van.

Van looked at him and he trid not to believed what he heard, "You are kidding, aren't you?"

Noah shake his head and hug Van, "Noah...." Van started to cry.

Van knew, Noah was a stubborn guy. He would do it if he said so. No one and nothing can change his mind.

Noah hold Van's chin and lift it, then he kissed him, "It's okay, I will live within you."

Noah hold Van's right hand and cast spell that make Van's nail and finger sharper than sword. After that, Van striped Noah's shirt and he put his palm on Noah's chest, right above the heart. Van, looked at Noah's blue eyes, neat blond hair and strong muscular body bigger than his. He forced a smile. After formed his fingers to be like the eagle’s claw, he pressed his hand to the utmost of his strength, took Noah's heart and pierced the his back. Then… he cried while pulled his hand. He looked at Noah’s heart on his covered blood hand.

“What should I do, now?” asked him.

“Hold the heart until I enter the heart”

Black powders came out from the Dragon’s body and entered Noah’s heart. The black powders entered the heart continually. It made the Dragon’s body disappeared little by little.

“Why you want us to seal you?” asked Van.

“Because, if you seal me people except The Dragon clan will lose their magic power. So the earth won’t suffer anymore and prevent her death.”

“Why do you want to sacrifice yourself?” asked Van.

“… Because… … her suffering is my fault. Because of my magic power too great… it flew within the air and make people can use magic.”

The Dragon said the last words and disappeared. Then the heart disappeared too. It entered Van’s body.

Van searched for Noah's body hoped to hug or kissed him for the last time. But he couldn't find it. Noah's body disappeared. Van's tears couldn't stop from falling. He walked hopelessly to the tree and sat down there, under the tree. He hug himself and crying. Crying because the memory played like a broken film. Continued to play the same sad scene. Then he fell asleep.
