A short and reflective poem on what it means to live.
As we weave prayers from hope and agony,
Wants and dreams from emotions for which there is no language,
Asking questions that may never be answered,
Life goes on, and we are pulled along with it,
Chained to the back,
Swearing and sighing
And sometimes even joyful that we haven’t been left behind.
