A moment in the life of a little ant
Ant Travels

Once upon a time there was a little ant that had wondered off into little Erika’s garden by mistake.

Erika was lying on the floor staring at clouds and the little ant fell in her belly button.

“Oh!” Erika cried as she dug in her little belly button and took out the ant stuck on her finger.  She stared at it but she wasn’t the only one staring at it.  Tommy, her cat was also staring and then jumped over and tried to claw at the ant.

The little ant fell in a tiny puddle by baby’s little inflatable swimming pool and thought she was safe until the ant saw baby coming towards her.  Before Ant could get out of the puddle, baby jumped in and splashed water all over sending the ant flying onto Cross, the dog.

Cross thought he had a flea and started scratching himself as he ran into the house.  He found the ant and sent it flying on to a plate of macaroni mum was bringing to the table.

Mum saw the ant; “I’ve got ants in the kitchen!” she screamed, dropped the plate and went to get the ant spray.

Little Ant saw the bottle of ant killer getting closer and ran for her life.  She ran back into the garden and hid in a little hole where she fell asleep.

When ant woke up, she was tired and hungry so she wondered off again, this time leaving the garden well alone and going through a crack in the fence.  Her home couldn’t be that far she thought as she crawled away.
