A man in the middle of a mid life crisis, looks back on the previous year.
It was at a crossroad in my life that i realized two things. One, i absolutely hated my father, and two, my life was heading nowhere fast. My wife divorced me after ten years of what i would like to think of as a "Happy marriage". My daughter Emily refuses to talk to me. And to top it all off, i just recently got fired from a company i devoted ten years of my life to, all because i had an affair with my bosses wife. And it just so happens my bosses wife was only sleeping with me to get back at her cheating jackass of a husband. so you can say I've had a tough year. And my only escape from this hell i call everyday life, is ten minutes alone in front of my computer screen with my pants at my ankles. But of course all great things must come to an end. This ended about a week ago when my nine year old daughter walked in on me. i haven't touched my mouse since. and with trying to deal with all of this, i am still struggling with the fact that i will be forty years old next week. So as you can see i do not have happiness in my life. but that all changed with a single phone call from my sister. it seems my millionaire fathers cancer has finally finished the job, and according to my sister, im in the will.
