How would you describe silence?

Silence
It understands me
Is there for me, all of the time
Never questioning
Never demanding
Just waiting
Just listening to me speak out loud
It doesn't ignore me
Doesn't abandon me
Never tires of me
It won't forget me
I listen to you too
After all, silence IS my only friend.
