Waiting on God
Wilts I wait
Under a chameleon sky
Full of rouge and magenta
Where wild eagles fly

A blazing sun wanders past
A lunar ball strides away
Another clock sounds a toll
As a hundred dreams scream and play

Where, oh where are you
Oh heavenly host
Creator and author
Of mountain and coast

My life is a mist
Drifting cross the hot sands
Fading like time
In an old mans hand

There is nigh reply
Only wind and the leaves
Just a thought and a whisper
To answer my pleas

Then a moment after so many
Moments, where nothing was clear
You told me the way
You banished my fear

The end of my life
Is never to come
The soul in my depths
Is pledged to just one

And all the small steps
That culminates in strife
Lead me to him
The light, and the life
