This poem is about my brother and in every way besides our personalities, we are the same.
Run me through
With your cold steel.
Shape a hole in my chest.
Beat me till I bleed.
You will see
My blood flows red
Like yours.
Yet, you treat me
With no respect.
You with hair like wild fire,
And eyes as cold as the deep trenches of the sea.
A mere boy trapped behind his words.
You, who strut about like a King
Without his Queen.
A mere man trapped behind his pride.
You, who resents all that becomes me.
You, who calls himself a "man".
You, whom I, most respectfully call "brother".
