Watching the sunrise.
I face the horizon

Watching as the world sheds its black velvet jacket

A wild ray of light sparkles across the snow covered landscape

In a great bronze chariot, the sun slips amorously over the horizon

As the stars slip into slumber the jacket changes to blood-red

In an eternal dance that has lasted for more than a thousand years

Watching the triumphant dawn dust the world with fine gold

I face the horizon
