This is the story of what happened to Jacob of the unfortunate night
Unfortunate Accident

It was 01:23am and the moon rose high in the sky. This particular day was when the moon was full which meant a lot more light. However, for Jacob who was driving home from a stag night with some mates, this did not have any affect on his vision as the heavy falling rain was shooting down on the windscreen of his car. The window wipers swaying rapidly to aid Jacob in see clearly. However, it had no effect on it what so ever. The windscreen was starting to steam up as the warm air was laying to rest on the cold windscreen. At this point Jacob could see nothing so he rolled his sleeve down over his palm and rubbed the steam away. As soon as we made a little window through the steam he heard a loud bump. He had hit something.

Should he just drive away and let someone else find it? or should he go and see, what ever it is, if its still alive? He stopped suddenly, his shoe slamming down of the brake. It sat in silence for a minute as he switched off the engine. His mind was full of thoughts and ideas. Would he go to prison? Was it a person? Is it still alive? What should he do next? He pulled himself together enough to open the car door. The cold air stuck his face and he had to close his eyes as there was a slight wind and the sudden change of temperature gave him Goosebumps. He was wearing blue jeans along with black trainers and a top that said ‘Its All Over Now Steve’ but you couldn’t see this under the thick thermal coat he wore which was red. He had a red woolly hat on and black gloves. It was mid November so the temperature was low anyway and it being night made it worse. He blew into his gloved hands and rubbed them together, tucking his neck and chin into his coat. ‘Let’s go and check out that thing’ he thought to himself. Although he was having second thoughts
He walked down the road; it could have been that far. The dim, yellow street lamps weakly lit the road but some of it still remained shadowed. He scanned the road with his eyes as he cautiously walked toward the lifeless shadow that lay in the middle of the road. The grit that lay on the road was the only sound being made as it was crushed underfoot. He approached the shadow with caution. He slowly inspected it. He removed his neck and chin from his coat and opened his mouth and a weak, quiet voice came out. ‘Hello?’ he looked at it. Nothing. Again he tried. ‘Hello?’ but still nothing. He started to panic at this moment. From what he could see the body was human. He would surely get put down for murder for this. He briskly walked back to his car and had a thought as he clicked in his seatbelt. ‘Hide the body in the boot’ he thought to himself. With no better ideas coming do him he slowly stuck the gear in reverse and slowly reversed up to the body.

He took a deep breath before he opened his door and strolled up to the body. He didn’t even look at the body; he just opened the boot and made some room that he seem fit to fit the body in. He turned around to pick up the body but nothing was there. Was he dreaming? Did he have too much to drink? He cant of, he only had lemonade. What could have happened? Did THIS even happen? He looked around but saw nothing to the left of him was a cliff that was disguised by bushes and ferns. To the right of him must be a 6 foot, wooden fence. He then looked closer at where the body was. There was a blood outline. It was red and thick. It was fresh because it was still steaming. He looked to the left of it and the blood line continued. The wind started to clam down and it was smudged. He froze as his mind was working away trying to work out what had happened. Then his eyes widened as if a light bulb lit up in his head. The body had been dragged away. But by what? He head sharply turned to the sound of a growl. Could it have been a dog? The growl got louder as the wind halted. All he could feel was coldness inside his body. He was frozen.

He wanted to move but he couldn’t. Suddenly there was a massive bark that must of echoed throughout the woods. That made him move. He jumped out of his skin. His chin started to shake. Not because of the temperature but out of fear. His whole body was shaking. As he backed up until he stopped. He froze again. What ever he was leant up against it must be bigger than him. He is 5 foot 9 inches. He finally built up the courage to move his hand and feel what has behind him. He slowly opened his palm and touched the thing that was looming over him. He pressed hard against it. Nothing happened. He slowly and gradually turned around. He then jumped away from the towering thing behind him. It was the fence. The fence stood dead still in the night. He stared at it for a little bit. Just then a shooting pain occurred in his chest. He felt some liquid dropped down on his hand. He looked down as the pain surged now throughout his body. He noticed a 10 inch claw through his chest. He then felt his left side go numb. His feet lifted off the floor as he heard the same growling as before. However, he was not interested in that. He was trying to scream but nothing came out. He felt something brushing past his face on his right side. It was twigs. He was being dragged into the very forest where the body had been dumped. Jacob was never heard of again.
