A poem about lies and delusional, blind love.
Delusion

You cloud my senses.
I see nothing but your face
Imperfection at it's finest
every flaw etched into my memory.
I feel nothing but your touch.
Rough hands caressing, singeing and scarring permanent paths on my body,
branding me
I smell nothing but your skin.
The unforgivable scent of lust and sin,
comfort and security.
My heart bursts and overflows.
A tear falls.
I can't hear your words
but it doesn't matter anyways
because those lips,
coveted and illicit,
say nothing but
lies.
