Time For Change

who says you cant go on living life undecided
who says life has to be a party or that you're not invited
who says life has to go by faster so you can be out on your own
who says once you're out you'll finally feel like you're home
how will you know?
how are you certain you know what you want to be
why cant you slow it down while you're still a teen
set up priorities, focus on what matters most
the rest falls into place later, that's how life goes
dont do something now you know you'll regret later
giving up your future for minimum wage to be a waiter
all from your rebellious teenage behavior
dont start things with a mind set on 'i cant do it'
go out and show the world life's tough but you can get through it
failing in life isnt a slap in the face to no one but yourself
thats not proving a point and you'll be left begging for help.
open your eyes, dont be stupid, look at what you can do
there's people in this world that dream to be like you
but a couple bad choices makes you want to throw it all away
well you're young, you're allowed to make mistakes,
it's gonna happen every day.
just make sure you fix it.
watch others work hard and push yourself to work harder
when you reach that breaking point tell yourself you can go farther
dont put limits on your life, reach for the birghtest star, the 1 that seems out of your range
