A woman who loses her love
Snow White Has Cut Her Finger

It was a fairy tale, you and me

Heads in the cloud

Feet dancing at high speed

Only one way to go, down

It was just a matter of time

Racing heartbeats

Pulses beating at high speed

Losing the quest, defeat

Snow white has cut her finger

Was the love real?

It had to be.

No one could pretend for so long.

Was it all in my mind?

I don’t see

How I could be so wrong.

Blind sighted, lost in a haze

Your love surrounded my days

Now rejected, lost in a maze

Your betrayal left me dazed

Snow white has cut her finger

Where there was promise

Now there’s a barren field

Full of your lies and shame

Where there was us

Now there’s an ocean

Drowning away my tears

I will arise, I will become

Someone you never knew

But in the end, It’ll never reveal

The truth beneath the veil

Snow white has cut her finger
