basically a poem for anyone feeling stuck about where they are and who they are in life.
"i'm like that branch," i told him as i pointed to one that lay broken upon the forest floor.

"too broken to fix, broken beyone repair." He looked at me bewildered, as he wrapped an arm around me, and said, "Baby, you're not like that at all. You are the leaf on this branch. Young and vibrant. Flexible, and able to move any way you desire. All you have to do is want that change, and do it before its too late. as you turn into the stem on that branch my dear, you become a little less flexible, and alot more set in your ways. Though it is possible, it is very difficult to change the things in your life. But even then you still have a chance. Don't let it pass..

The rest of you life, is like the branch itself, love. It's big, and round, and not very flexible. As a matter of fact, there is no changing its shape anymore. Not without fatal outcomes. You stay where you are, set in your ways untile the branch snaps-hence the end of your life. You're still in your prime my deaar, still that green leaf. Do what you want before you get stuck in who you aren't."

With that, he wiped the tears from my eyes, kissed me softly, and turned away before i could argue anymore.
