Looking back (written when I was 12)
Look in a mirror
Look at yourself
Then look at a picture
Perched high on a shelf

There's always a change
Something is new
Til one day you look back
And it's no longer you

An innocent child,
An innocent age
Is captured forever
On a glistening page

And of that young child
Can their sayings be true?
With all of these changes
Can it really be you?
