Written with candid awareness.
I pray to you.

I make my heart bare and open;
To expose my deepest longings and desires

I am hurt

It is as if my heart has been restricted by the whims of another.

Oh, how I wish to enclose you once again with love, joy, and happiness.

As a bird desires freedom I desire relief.

The cause have always been looking and not admitting.
I have begged and I have pleaded.

I have loved based on condition.
I am guilty of aloofness.
I am guilty of not letting go.

Today is twofold.

I am reborn in the midst of apparent sorrow
I am jubilant in the midst of perceived sadness.

I live

I am that which I have so desired
I am love; I am loved all in the same breath.
