what if earth is not where humans originated but a place of colonization by an older race.
Location: Earth African continent
Date: circa 100,000 B.C.

the navigator and the captain stood on the serface to survey the area and check the list."This is the place, no defiance, no uprisings;" listed off the navigator, looking poindexterish with large holo-vision enhancers (think the blind black guy from star trek) who was rudely interrupted by the captain who added "no intelligence, no technology, no nothing besides a few wild dumb animals here and there. Now remind me again why this crap-yard is so special before I get in the ship and leave you behind for leading us here!" The captain of the ship, Kalkrux Rasphod, was obviously a very irritable person and didn't like to waste his time where he didn't have (or want) to waste it. He was the captain of a crew numbering 373. 30% were the scholars and scientists of their ship 40% were laboring engineers 10% were physicians, and the rest were military officers who were to keep peace (basically the emergency muscle). He wore his standard issue captain's uniform which was red all over with very tight tights, covered by solar diamond armor (solar diamonds are just carbon from a solar core). The colonists wore the same thing minus the armor and the red was blue, also, due to cloning looked very similar to each other. The galaxy was currently at war with Andromeda for the clouds of stardust lying between them that were plentiful in hydrogen that could be used to fuel star ships, material for miniaturized stellar reactors that could power hemispheres at a time, or the dreaded B.H.G., the ultimate one-shot-one-kill all powerful weapon of the cosmos(but in reality, Andromeda was much more qualified to run politics seeing as the star system that ran our galaxy was stupid and relied on the help of those who only stayed out of fear and blackmail), and this "crap-yard" was a strategic military instillation to transport troops and resources to and from the outer galaxy.

"W-w-well s-s-s-sir." continued the navigator, his face turning red from more than just the sun."This planet is perfectly hospitable sir, no Reformations required, plus the fact that we don't have to fight to conquer it. The star here is in it's middle ages so the planet would easily have time to get out of the way of the star's only semi-violent end. Command thought it was rare find and we needed to snap it up before the Andromeda military could get to it and turn it into a weakness." The navigator, whose name was Lezra Haplin, shuffled around in his feet while giving his assessment, the hot dry wind of the Sahara whipping through his relatively soft brown hair. "Well then?" yelled the captain wearing his standard issue skin-tight red military uniform while his dark beady eyes flared at Lezra. "Get the rest of the crew!!" And with that Captain Kulkrux withdrew his plasma pistol and shot at Lezra's feet while he ran the ship thinking 'i hope that catches on in gun fights on this world.'

"NOW LISTEN UP!!" growled captain Kulkrux "This will be your home from now until we reconnect with you after you have made this planet worthy of joining the vast Ashtar Empire. With our current figures that should take you a mere 7,000 revolutions around this star. Since you have arrived safely to your destination, this is no longer a military matter, until then, good luck!" After which Kulkrux and the rest of the military boarded the ship and departed. Once out of sight the new colonists had decided to put their own plan into effect. The thing about scholars and philosophers is that they rarely ever listen to government officials, the new plan was to grow into a lost society, a world without knowledge of it's origins. To do this would blow a huge hole in the empire's master design another of this planet's destined functions was a key corner of the galaxy's mechanical matrix, basically the steering wheel of the galaxy. This would leave The Empire as open as an air lock without it's magnetized fastening bolts and the Andromeda Forces would take over and usher in the first ever bi-galactic system whose resources would allow them to be unmatched. Sure it was treason, but it was for the best and the war would end much sooner. The plan was finalized and they fashioned plenty of Cryo-chambers with enough fuel to last 600 years, after they woke up they wouldn't remember anything about the Grand Empire, Where they came from, or even their families they left behind. The life support systems that would normally keep them alive for the 7000 years were removed from their bodies and their natural life cycles were reinstated. Yes, after they woke up, everything would be different and confusing, they might die from the lack of knowledge that would allow them to dominate the globe in a decades time, but they were determined to try.
