A Free Verse Rhyme Poem about a poor vampire that loves and watches a rich woman.
Oh so late at night
The moon is her single source of light
On the balcony she will stay
A piece of parchment in her hand will lay
A poem created by William Shakespeare
Not once has she a glimpse of fear
Of who was watching her oh so clear
Never once knowing that for so long I was near
A slight smile may form on her pale pink lips
Or a tear may form that on her face will drip
A drowsy appearance is visible on her face
Her hand covered with lace
Brushes upon black words on the page
Goes in her room and lays the poem she was once engaged
Now she undresses, it is her time to sleep
My desire is too difficult to keep
I gaze at her sleeping form attentively
As I enter the room stealthily
I walk to her bed full of caution
My red eyes burn with temptation
Wishing my hand were upon her body
Which is occasionally covered with modesty
I move closer so her lips are more near
The beating of her heart is the single sound I hear
On her face lay a cold hand and finger
But sadly I can not stay or linger
Through the window I make hast
Leaving my dear love to lay in her place
