Sometimes memories of the good times just aren't enough....
Faded


A picture's worth a thousand words
But few are ever spoken.
So what is that picture frame
But just an empty token?
Memories fade to black and white
And slowly begin to stale.
Memories of hopes and dreams
Proven all too frail.
Sweet release from feelings of failure
With the stilling of the Heart.
A final act of selfishness
And most eloquent form of art.
