In search for the purpose of existence
From one place to another I wonder
Treasure I plunder
In persuit of purpose I search
In the evening on the highest hill top I perch

Every location is like a new ray of hope
As the season is exhausted I find it hard to cope
Purpose seems like an illusion
My mind is riddled with confusion
To survive I must create a worthy delusion

No matter what I do, there is a void
There must be a way so it can be destroyed
I cannot settle to simply exist
How much longer can i resist

I remain a fluctuating variable in a stable universe
Perhaps with time the negative energy will disburse
