i'm not sure how to describe this
Becoming what you are not, it can be quite an easy thing to do if done correctly. You don’t even have to do much in order to change, change tends to take the reins of your life and all you have to do is sit back and pretend nothing is happening and lose yourself to the will of others. The faster you embrace their ways of thinking and style, the easier it is to be molded into a new person with totally different values, tastes, and character. However, the easier way is to mold a mask of your own, but that has some setbacks as well.

If you want to just mold a mask to wear before the world, the steps are quite simple. First, you have to be alert while you are around people and determine what kind of attitude, beliefs, values, and styles they have. From there, all you have to do is pretend you are actually one of them. Say and do everything that will make them happy, but will also make them believe that you are also enjoying yourself while you are around them. However, I must warn you, at first the mask will be easy to take off when you first start because you still have your own beliefs and values, which are strongly rooted. But, the longer you wear the mask, the harder it will become for you to take it off until it becomes who you are. This change will not happen overnight, but, mark my words, it will happen if you wear it too long.

On the other hand, the whole character and personal style change can be more difficult and can have just as many consequences. Up until the point in which you accept the change from your peers, you have been fighting to keep who you are and not be influenced by others. But, you are only so strong and you can only bear so much pressure from your peers before you give into their demands. You become too weak to ward them off any longer and finally say to yourself, “Enough! I don’t want to be an outcast any longer! Besides, how bad could it be?” and then, the transformation begins.

At first, it feels like they are ripping you flesh from limbs and you fight their efforts mentally. However, the more you fight, the more painful the process becomes. But, if you just let them take you like a piece of clay and form you according to their will, it will be easier. If your mask is created well enough so that there are not any cracks and you have buried your true self so deep within your being that it is nearly in-existent, you will easily pass their test. Choose who you wish to become because, once you are who you become, it is nigh impossible to turn back.
