The Eyes Have It



Eyes upon eyes

  brown upon blue

  messages sent

  not always true.



What lies behind

  blue ones will stay

  secret from brown ones

  locked away.



Protecting the brown ones

  blue ones will cover

  sadness and sorrow

  caused by another.



As years go by

  brown ones will wonder

  what blue ones were hiding

  when eyes met each other.
