A poem written late one night.
 Disillusion

A stare that sees through heart and soul,
a glance that could destroy us all,
a look that'd make the strongest fall,
a sight that never waivers, doll.

Behind those cold blue eyes, I see
a light which shines so radiantly,
a warmth brought out so naturally,
that once brought so much peace to me.

That comfort which I have not known
since last you called my arms your home.
Without you I'm adrift, alone,
shot down from heights no man has flown.

Though colder nights I can retrace
without the warmth of your embrace,
I can't help feel so out of place,
a soul alone here out in space.

So cautious with your careless lies,
so many men you've hypnotized.
Few see through those cold blue eyes,
but I for one have seen them cry.

March onward then, young soldier who,
feels not the pain brought on by you.
Pretending your sky's always blue,
wish I could see things like you do.

No clouds cast shadows on your mood,
no storm which ever could break through.
The best of all the worst you do
would hide you who's so false and true.
