We sang nightingales,

Just her and I

A fine song, only our hearts understood,

By the river of Venus, 

And the echoes of our voices,

Entangled by love, painted the sky

With feelings profound.

    In Elysium, we sang

A song not from scrolls

But from the passion within

Till the sun made way for the moon

And the stars appeared, in form of roses

By the river of Venus
