A testement and expression of what I feel about my battle with Arthritis.
My Affliction
My affliction is ever present,
a burden both day and night.
I wonder what my sin was,
to warrent this battle I now fight.
I once was flexible and strong,
now I am stiff and weak.
Too tired and sore from joints,
that swell and creak.
Being trapped here,
in this feeble aging shell.
I must move slower these days,
the pace makes me want to yell.
I use to walk and run,
now I shuffle and limp.
Unable to do favorite things,
this arthritis makes me a wimp.
