Basically, this guy gets this power, and he uses it to try and create a ideal world
Ren fled towards the great Chinese temple. Holding the tablet he had stolen in his hand, he pressed it into the door of the temple. The temples massive doors creaked open, the ancient cobwebs that masked it slowly separated and fell to the floor.

Ren stepped through it, his long black hair unruley, blowing as air trapped for an eternity fled to the outside.

A long unmaintained path stood before him, at the end of it was the prize he had been after since the day he heard of it, the orb of Ying Yang.

As he stepped across the battered path and reached for the jewel.

“The Jewel of Ying Yang, how I have longed to possess your power,” he said to himself, with a calm grin

Ren picked it up carelessly, and heard a rumble. A long black snake like creature emerged from the ground. It had a big gaping mouth and its eyes were replaced by a symbol of ying yang. The creature opened up its massive jaws, a mixture of blood a drool seeped out of its open maw.

Ren looked with shock in his eyes at the creature, but still calm on his face, as it began to speak.

“You are unworthy of handling the orb, human, give possession back to the temple, "it narrowed it's eyes, "Or face an eternity of fear and pain.” The creature spoke in a raspy unworldly tone.

The surprised in Ren’s face was quickly replaced with one of calmness. “I take it that you are the guardian that the legend spoke of?” He laughed manically. “This orb is mine, and I have studied years on how to harness it properly.”

Ren began to mumble words from an ancient, forgotten language. The orb began to glow and fuse itself with him. Two black and white wings sprouted from Ren's back and a small ying yang symbol developed on his forehead.

The creature lunged angrily towards him, but Ren merely laughed and teleported away in a puff of black smoke.

Since that moment, Ren began to fufill his dream of using the powers of the Ying Yang to find and destroy all he deemed evil in this world.

Chapter one: Judgement

A young teen German girl lay upon her bed reading a magazine. She had been targeted by Death threats for her strong sadistic tendencies. Little did she know that this would be the last day of her life.

She threw down her magazine onto the floor and grabbed another one from her desk. Suddenly,  she heard a noise like a loud gust of wind. She put down her magazine and went to check what it was.

A man that looked to be in his twenties emerged. He had long black hair and wings, black and white like the ying-yang symbol on his forehead. His dark eyes fixed her with an intense stare, but it began to lessen when he started to relax.

“Wha-What the...What the FUCK are you!" She screamed.

The man smiled calmly. “Relax, you don’t need to stress,” he cleared his throat. “My name is Ren. May I ask for yours?”

The girl panicked “No... Fuck no, I’m not telling you, I don’t even know what the fuck you are.”

Ren laughed at her aggressive nature. “Your hostility amuses me, I already know your name, and quite a bit about you.” He cleared his throat, “Your name is Melanie.”

She stared in shock “H-how did..."

Ren finished her sentence “How did I know?” He laughed. “You’re about to find out that I know a lot about you, and that you have been a naughty, naughty girl”

“Your name is Melanie" he repeated, than continued, "You are 12 years old. Your claim to fame on the internet is your notorious, horrendous video known as '9 lives'. In this video, you toss 9 tiny, helpless kittens into a river to drown.” He paused, “Since then you have been getting death threats from various people who saw your video, including hacking attempts to find out where you live.”

“What the fucking hell is your point? Do I look like a give a shit? I didn’t want the fucking kittens anyway!” She screamed.

Ren frowned. “You killed for such a pathetic reason, and you laughed while doing it.” He sighed.“Those 9 kittens could have grown up to live happy lives. Your judgement will barely count as one to make up for your wrongs."

“Wha-What!” Melanie cried, “What the fuck is that meant to mean?”

Ren’s smile grew greater. “You’ll see...”

He grabbed her hands and teleported away with her. They reappeared high in the featureless, blue sky, Ren's giant wings the only thing keeping them from falling.

“Wh-where the fuck did you take me, you freak!” She screamed at him.

Ren began to laugh hard, loud and menacing, as if he had been keeping in the urge to for this entire time. “Face your judgement,” He let go of her hands. “Enjoy the view."

Ren sipped from a cold glass of blood red wine, his hand inside the black end of the orb on his chest.“Which unworthy soul is to be cleansed next,” he said to himself calmly.

Chapter 2: Angel

A middle aged fat, grubby looking Texas man sat upon an expensive chair in the comfort of his own home. The man was greedily eating a piece of chicken, spraying bits over the floor and table.

Suddenly the wind changed, as a black mass of energy formed before him. The man sat up on his seat as his dirty looking face staring blankly into the vortex of energy.

The energy formed into a human looking creature with huge, dragon-like wings. It was Ren.

“What the hell are you?” The man shouted, grabbing for his gun.

Ren held up his arms.“I mealy wish to talk with you,” He smiled. “My name is Ren, may I ask for yours?”

The man’s face scrunched up in anger, “I’m the one asking questions here.”

He shakily pointed his pistol at Ren, “Where, in the name of hell, did you crawl out of? And what in damn nation are you doing in my house!”

Ren laughed and walked towards him, and evil, knowing glint in his eyes.

“Don’t move!” The man screamed, “I know how to use this, ya know?”

Rens smile faded.

“But you didn’t have the guts to use it before did you?” said Ren.

"What are you..." The man tried to interrupt, but Ren continued.

“Your name is Brian. You are an American politician for the Republican Party,” Ren paused , and his face darkened. “You are also a pedophile who has abused children, using your power to cover your action and prevent yourself from being caught.”

“I can explain-“Brian weakly exclaimed, but Ren ignored him and continued.

“There was one child who spoke out though... But he mysteriously died.” Ren shot the man a powerful look.

“And I know that you hired someone to kill him,” Ren spoke calmly, fighting hard to keep the anger out of his voice.

Brian panicked, grabbing for his pistol and firing random shots across the room. Ren quickly teleported beside the man, and put a pistol with a unique inscription to the man’s head.

Ren smiled, “I happened to stop by the killer on my way here, and obtained the gun he used to kill the child with.” Ren's smile grew wider. “A fitting death for someone like yourself, is it not?”

Brian screamed like the pig he was as Ren pulled the trigger.

The pathetic man slumped to the ground amongst the bits of meat and bones from the last meal he had eaten, just as his body guards burst through the door.

Ren gave a sadistic smile to the guards as he teleported away.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ren already had his next target in his mind as he teleported away. Another Texan, this time a Ku Klux Klan member, who had participated in a gun run at a local KFC, helping to kill four civilians and two cops. Yet another menace to society.

Ren teleported into the man’s house. He started saying the lines he said to every human scumbag he punished, finding delight in the man's fear. Suddenly, three orbs of light appeared in the room.

The orbs began to change, writhing and twisting into human like shapes, white feathered wings sprouting from their backs.

The neon glow that had covered their bodies eventually disappeared and they revealed themselves to be three humanoid figures, dressed in pearly white robes. They were human enough, apart from the shining halos hovering above their heads and their glamorous white wings.

The man escaped, screaming, as Ren stood there, paralysed by the beauty before him.

“Angels!” Ren exclaimed in amazement. He was still transfixed by their stunning beauty. .......

One of the Angels began to speak. She looked like a young female in her early twenties with long, shining blonde hair

“Human, hand over the Orb of Ying Yang, in the name of our most holy lord, and repent for the sins you have committed against your own.”

Ren began to laugh like a maniac. “Repent?" he snarled, "You make it seem like I am the one in the wrong.” His wicked laughter subsided to a smile, “I am doing what your god has not bothered to do, and I am punishing those who commit crimes against others. I am helping the planet by removing those who seek to destabilize it!”

“Only our most holy god has the right to cast judgement,” the angel said. “Take back what you have said, repent what you have done, and accept the holy father as your saviour.”

Ren struggled not to laugh again. “Your god has killed more than his fair share of people.” Ren said, “What about the Noah’s ark? Your Holy God flooded the entire earth, indiscriminately killing not just the guilty, but the innocent as well.”

Ren paused to catch his breath, “He also allows people into heaven, not because they are good people, but because they worship him”

The angels glowered at Ren with furious glances as he continued. “All this stuff about repent does not make up for crimes commit, all repenting is, is saying you believe in god to get into his heaven. Your god doesn’t believe in justice, he is a Tyrant.”

The female angel looked at Ren in frustration, “This is your last chance human, hand over the orb, or we will be forced to take it from you.”

Ren smiled, “How about you fight for me to repent for the sins you have caused, then?”

The angels looked with anger, “Sounds like you need a bit more persuasion.”

The three angels began to conjure up shining balls of light in their hands. Ren laughed as he teleported away in a vortex of dark matter.

Ren sat down in his tiny apartment. “Angels, eh?” He murmured to himself as he pulled some wine out of the fridge, “Amusing.”

Chapter 3: Demon

Ren rested in the arm chair that once belonged to Brian, the man he killed before. Ren sipped his wine, when suddenly a black vortex appeared in the middle of the room, lightning dashing out from it here and there. Ren raised an eyebrow. Stepping out of the vortex stood a man in a white business suit and fashionable glasses, looking to be in his mid-twenties. He looked human enough, except for the pure blackness of his eye’s iris.

Ren calmly looked at the man. “Do you need something?” He asked, as if people teleporting into his room was a regular thing.

“Indeed,” said the stranger, imitating Ren's calm manner. "I have a proposition for you.”

Ren did a small smile, “Go on.” He sounded amused.

“Oh but where are my manners,” The man cleared his throat. “My name is Damian; it is a pleasure to meet you Mr…”

“You may call me Ren,” Ren said with a smile. “It is rare that I get to speak to someone with such etiquette these days.”

“Likewise,” Damian replied. “Now that, that’s all out of the way, I wish to offer you a deal.”

Damian cleared his throat again. “I know that you are trying to rid the world of evil, and I would like to help you in your mission to do so,” Damian paused, “I wish to offer you a variety of demonic powers, from defensive, to offensive.”

Ren’s eyes seemed to glow at the thought of those powers. He closed his eyes and spoke calmly, “What’s the catch?”

Damian smiled. “I wouldn't call it a catch, but I want the orb. It’s not like you can use it to its full potential, only a demon can. Why do you think your body can actually withstand the unholy power of the orb?”

Ren’s glowing face turned into one of boredom. “So, what exactly do you intend to do with the orb?” Ren asked, quickly losing interest in the conversation.

“I don’t think that is any of your concern,” Damian said, flashing a quick smile. “But I will let you in on a secret”

Damian cleared his throat for a third time, “The guardian is heading your way as we speak," he laughed, "I assume you know of the guardian?"

Ren looked at Damian with a calculating stare, “He protects the orb. Legends say that he is unable to be killed, and that he follows the owner of the orb until he brings it back to the temple.”

“You know more then I gave you credit for” Damian said, as he poured himself some wine. “But one such as him can be killed by someone with enough power, like my dark lord.”

Damian laughed. “Just think, you will get a nice array of powers, without the threat of the protector,” Damian said. “Pretty sweet deal right?”

Ren smiled, “Tempting, very tempting, but I will have to pass.”

“What!” Damien’s eyes turned red, as if embers danced inside them. “Even after I offered you demonic powers, you still say no?”

“As much as I dislike the order-bound angels and their tyrannic lord, I also do not wish to give the power to a group that feeds upon power and personal gain.” Ren stated calmly. “That is why I cannot give the powers of the orb to someone like yourself.”

Damian stared at Ren with unmasked anger. “So be it, the next time we meet, I will not be so forgiving with you.” Damian smiled, “He’s watching you, and so are we”

Damian conjured up a flaming vortex, stepping in as it grew thinner and thinner.

Ren sighed and sat down to finish his wine, when suddenly the apartment began to shake.

From the ground emerged a massive black snake like creature, with a ying yang symbol for eyes. The protector.

The creature roared and hurled itself at Ren. But Ren was too fast, and quickly teleported away from the monstrous protector.

Ren sat down in an empty apartment, realising that his life would consist of teleporting from apartment to apartment until the beast finally caught up with him. He lay down in the dirty, unmade bed, slowly falling asleep. As he slept, he thought to himself of how he was to deal with not only all the evil in the world, but also the factions in the other worlds. And as the first strains of light hit the earth he said to himself.

“Dawn is breaking.”

Chapter 4: Underground Highway

Ren woke early and loaded up his dual pistols. He knew that he had many more enemies now, and preferred to travel well armed in the unlikely case of a situation he could not get himself out of.

He then ripped a piece of bed sheet from his bed and tied it around the symbol upon his head. While he could easily fold his wings up and wear a jacket, his ying-yang symbol upon his forehead gave away that he was not human in an instance, unless he pretended to be some sort of monk, but a monk in the middle of Britain would attract unwanted attention.

Ren placed his hand into the black end of the orb, and his eyes began to go black and white like the ying yang symbols. Soon he pulled out his hand from the orb and smiled, for he knew who his next target was.

After igniting a riot in Britian’s high security prison, convicted mass murderer Ferdinand Price escaped from prison, driving away in a hotwired police car.

After a heated car chase, Ferdinand managed to outrun the cops and drove the car to a secret safe house only he knew of.

Ferdinand slunk into the safehouse. It showed signs of disrepair and lack of maintenance, but it served as a perfect place for him to hide out.

He lifted up the dirty, stained carpet. He grinned as he saw the trapdoor leading to an underground passage. He had bribed a fellow inmate with cigarettes to tell him about. What a clever man he was.

As he walked though the roomy underground tunnel, a dark vortex appeared upon the ground. A man stepped out of the vortex, black and white wings sprouting from his back.

“Good evening." said Ren, "My name is-“  Before he could finish he heard voices from behind him.

“Hold it right there Ren,” A female voice spoke. “Your teleporting is too slow and is easy to track.”

Ren turned around, and saw three Angels behind him, one of them he recognized from before.

“How cute,” Ren chuckled, “I have been upgraded from human to Ren.”

Ren tried to teleport, but for some reason he was unable to.

Ren looked at the Angel in shock. “You can’t teleport away this time,” The angel said. “Just give up. Forgiveness can always be granted, just so long as you believe in his name, it’s not too late to hand over the orb and repent.”

Ren grasped his guns and turned around quickly. To his shock, he saw that four more angels were blocking his path.

“Wha-What have you done to me!” Ren screamed at them, his natural calmness beginning to be drowned in fear.

“We have done nothing to you per-say” The angel said, “But we set up an anti particle separator in this room. Meaning you cannot manipulate your particles for transdimensional transportation in this place.”

Ren's eyes flashed with anger.“Doesn’t mean I cannot blast my way through!” He shouted as he grabbed for his guns and stretched his wings wider.

Suddenly, a noise like a water slithering through a swamp was heard. Out of the ground erupted sticky red slime. It lunged for and engulfed one of the angels.

He screamed for mercy, as the slime burnt through his angelic flesh, smothering him, pushing him towards the ground.

The female angel quickly jumped up."Looks like our enemys have spotted us,” She said as she put her hands in front of her, “Starshot bow!”

A bow appeared in her outstretched hands, along with a quiver on her back.

The other angels did the same and soon all the angels were armed.

Ren quickly shot Ferdinand, who had fainted from shock, and flew down the tunnel.

The female angel commander quickly noticed Ren's departure. She quickly picked up the chase, using her powerful wings to catch up.

Ren saw the angel coming and pulled out his pistols, firing shots upon his pursuer. Angel returned fire with her star-shot bow, which Ren dodged with a fast twirling mauver.

Ren flew swiftly through the tunnel complex. He dodged a giant worm being ridden by a skinny, nasty looking little creature. An imp.

“Commander, the demons are overrunning our position, if we don’t deactivate the partica-“ A male angel told the commander.

“Not on my watch Our Lord has instructed us to catch this blasphermiser, and I will stop at nothing to fulfil his holy will,” She screamed as she prepared to fire another holy bolt at Ren.

“Your dedication and loyalty is outstanding,” Ren complimented her. “It is a shame we are on different sides in this war.”

The worm writhed and the tunnel began to cave in on itself, to collapse.

Ren used this as an opportunity to try and do some risky manoeuvres to slow Angel down so she would be caught in the collapse.

“What is he doing?” Angel asked herself as she tried to keep up with his radical moves from left to right. “If he keeps this up, he’ll tire himself out before he even reaches the end of the tunnel.”

Ren laughed like a maniac and began to unleash a flurry of bullets from his duel pistols. A few of the bullets hit her wings, making her slow down a touch.

Ren soon spotted the end of the tunnel and he soared up it. He burst through the exit, along with the Angel.

Ren smiled cruelly at her, and teleported away laughing.

“Curse him!” Angel screamed, as she morphed herself into an orb and floated away.

Ren sat down on the cushion-less couch in his apartment, drinking red wine. “What a lovely night to have a curse,” he muttered.

Chapter 5: Traps

“So do we have a deal?” A familiar, persuasive voice said.

A man with enormous muscles smiled and grinned, “Yes. I vill crush dem all like little bugs.”

Ren began to rest the next week. All this flying, running and avoiding getting killed was wearing him out.

He played around with the antenna’s on the TV in the room, attempting to get reception. The TV was one of those small black and white ones, and it looked like it hadn’t been used in awhile.

He soon finally got the TV working and began to watch the news, while drinking his morning white wine.

Most of it was quite boring, not that he expected it to be half as amusing as the computer he had back at his old place, before it was destroyed by the protector. After all, an old black and white TV has nothing on a laptop.

After a few hours, a story on strange attacks on churches, happening all across Britian, came on. The description of the man who burnt down the churches apparently looked like something out of a super natural horror movie, which began to spark many people screaming about an apocalypse.

Ren’s eyes opened up wide, “Demons blatantly attacking churches?” He asked himself,“Now why are they so obvious about it?”

He thought to himself and then smiled, “Looks like I have found something interesting to spend my break doing.” He laughed cruelly.

Ren placed his hand into the dark end of the orb scrolling through people in his mind.  Ren suddenly smiled as he teleported away in a puff of black smoke.

Ren reappeared in a church. The church was scorched and filled with corpses, either impaled by chairs or burning on the ground. In the middle of the graveyard like scene was the demon who caused it all.

The demon was a massive, mostly human looking creature, except for his pure black skin with molten marks across it.

The demon smashed the ground, sending Ren falling on his back.

As Ren tried to get up, he suddenly felt the orb being ripped from his chest. The demon laughed and spoke, “Dis little orb vas too easy to get.”

Damian appeared in a vortex of fire, laughing as he stepped out.

“Ren, you have lost.” He gleefully exclaimed, “You should have taken my offer whist you had the chance, now the orb is mine.”

“Not on your life, little demon,” The massive demon man told Damian as he flung him to the ground along side Ren.

“Dis power belongs to me, you vere too veak to handle it, so derefore it is mine,” The massive demon man said, a toothy grin stretching across his ugly face.

“Do not forget our deal,” Damian shouted. “I gave you those powers so that you would get the orb for me!”

“Yes, but now dat I am stronger den you, the deal is off,” he said as he picked up Damian and threw him to the ground once more.

Three Orbs appeared in the room, quickly melting into their human like forms. Ren barely opened his eyes. “Angel?” He gasped as he recognized the commander

The Angel commander looked at the demon. “Hand over the orb or be slain, demon!” she shouted.

The demon let out a bellowing laugh, “I could crush your pathetic little bones vith my bare fist alone.”

“So be it, I will not reason with a demon,” She screamed. “Star-Shot Bow!”

Her and her two other angels appeared with bows, “Lets finish this battle, to make up for the lives of all our comrades sent to hell by these bastards!”

Ren staggered up, his body was still the way it was. “Strange,” he said, “My body appears to be still as it was when it was infused with the orbs power.”

Damian began to speak, “That is because he hasn’t used the ritual to activate it’s powers yet. If that idiot knew how to do the ritual, you would lose those powers and they would be transferred to him.”

Ren smiled, “So he’s virtually powerless without the ritual?”

“It would appear so,” Damian proclaimed. “I knew this may happen, which is why I chose him to be the vessel to obtain the orb for me.”

“Stop talking vile I am still here!” The demon screamed as he conjured up a fire ball to throw at Damian and Ren, who both quickly jumped out of the way
