Fear of him loosing interest.
My excitement to kiss you is halted by your irritated expression.
My desire to touch you is discouraged as you pull away from me.
My need to be held by you is denied as you explain your aches and pains.

I long for your touch to resuscitate my soul.
For your kiss to awaken the sensations that only you can.
I hold my breath in hopes you may want me like you did when I was new,
Like when it was just us two.

Until then I'll softly steal my kisses from your heavy sleep on my way to work.
I'll stay up late to trace the outline of your sleeping heart, and lye close
enough to feel the heat from your body without waking you.

Until then, I'll settle for just being in the same room with you.
That's how much I Love You!
