Nothing stays the same as all things pass into yesterday.
The Day Will Pass
A poem by...
Johnson

Ice comes in the winter and will stay,
'tis the time to be frigid everyday;
Icicles are hanging from the roof;
It's winter and you have the proof.
It's cold and you're chilled to the bone;
Times you feel depressed and all alone.

Rebirth in the spring and life matures
For winter dull drums nature has its cures.
New life being born at every turn;
Time to awaken and a time to learn.
Life will flourish all the time outside;
It's a happy time; nature has its pride.

Summer comes and things get hot;
Causing minds to be happy, but our flesh to rot.
Rot from hazardous rays of the sun;
What do we care? We're all having fun!
Celebrating all of the pleasant days;
Fun and good times in spite of the haze.

Pretty colors in Fall, but they don't stay;
Life passes from today into yesterday.
A brisk chill in the wind swept air;
Life is still simple with nary a care;
But a rush of urgency is in the air;
We know that winter will soon be there.

Things run their course and have a season
And for that there is a very good reason,
Because, all days pass into yesterday;
Good and bad times all fade away.
Nothing lingers long...no, nothing will stay
Because all days pass into yesterday.

Forced rhymes?--You bet they are--Do you think that rhymes just happen magically?--No!....of
course not!!!...The poet must write with the purpose of making the words rhyme, so....in that way...
the rhymes are forced--You no like?  Don't read my stuff as I force all my lines to rhyme--That is
MY STYLE!!!--
