Soft skin, a woman’s touch
Round curves, lovely to behold
Long hair, dark eyes, invisible
Who was she?

For a price a man could lust
But did anyone ever really touch
The strong heart that beat inside
Striving hard to survive
Who was she?

Did she find love, could she?
The real kind, not the fairytale
Was there anyone that she could trust
In a world of women owned
Who was she?

Living in a Cage of Birds
One of Many all with different stories
A Soiled Dove yes she was, but…
Who was she?
