My first poem. I was 11. "My soul is a shadow"
My soul is a shadow
A figure on the wall
You see the outline
And want to know it all
My feelings hide within this shadow
My eyes call but you'll never know
In my eyes you'll see my heart
And reveal this shadow
Part by part
Until you see what's in my soul
My life's a shadow
My life's unwhole
