Rosealee and friends investigate an odd glow. It's a Dragon Elf and he's asking for help.
Rosalie heard a noise. She opened her eyes to see Litis flying above her. His yellow wings fanning her with warm morning air. "Litis why did you wake me so early, I don't have to meet Airlynn until lunchtime."

Litis just fluttered above her trying to coax her out of bed. Rosalie grabbed her pillow made from a lambs ear petals and turned over attempting more sleep. Litis still flew above her until she gave up and threw her pillow at him. She stretched and yawned then hopped out of bed. There wast much activity in the tree this morning. Daisyleah was busy cleaning the leaves of their community tree while Chiveton looked at the bark, he was checking for new moss. Everyone was attending to their daily chores. Rosalie's chore is to repair any leaves that may have gotten damaged in bad weather and there was much wind the night before. She did not see any damage yet, but would fly around the tree after breakfast.

Rosalie carefully sipped morning dew off a leaf then ate a fresh blueberry that someone placed on the table where everyone ate. Litis flew around her again.

"OK Litis I will get my things and we can search the tree for torn leaves, whats your hurry today?" Litis did not talk, he could only hum, but today he seemed so excited about something he did not even hum. Rosalie grabbed her small pouch of tools and flew around the tree with her friend looking for something to repair.

Suddenly a gust of wind practically blew Litis out of the tree. Rosealee grabbed his leg just in time. Litis looked at her with his big golden eyes, It was a Thank-You look and in response Rosealee quickly replied, "Your welcome!"

Then Rosealee noticed something in the middle of the community tree, a bright purple glow. It grew brighter and brighter and soon could be seen from everywhere in the tree. Everyone stopped what they were doing and flew toward the bright hue. "Stop!" Amberlitte called out.

Amberlitte was the leader of this meadow-fairy clan and everyone did as she said, she knew best, she was after all three hundred fairly years old, she knew everything! Everyone stopped where they were. The purple hue began to dim. Inside the purple hue was a small Dragon Elf. This Elf was from across the fields where different flowers and trees grew. He called out to Amberlitte, " We need your help, there is someone or something eating our flowers, we cant fight it on our own, we, well can't even see it, can you call please help us?"

Amberlitte flew over to this small Dragon Elf, she looked deeply into his eyes, they were indeed seem sad and scared. "I will come with you and talk to your elders, we can discuss how we can help you friend." she told him.

Amberlitte motioned for Chiveton and Rosalie to come closer to her. "Take care of the tree and our family while I am gone, If I am not back by tomorrow morning send Cosmic to get me, there may be cause for alarm, but until we know for sure let me go see how we can help."

Rosalie and Chiveton agreed. They watched Amberlitte fly hand in hand with the Dragon Elf. There was much chatter among everyone in the meadow-tree that evening, concern and excitement both equal among everyone. When Airelynn flew over from her clan's tree Rosealee told her all about the problem in the Dragon Elf community. She seemed worried too. "Rosalie, I will tell my family and friends and if we can help let us know, so I had better go, let me know tomorrow please." "Alright, fly safely!"

With that Airlynn headed home. "Lets hope everyone is alright at the dragonelf community and that Amberlitte makes it home safely tonight" Rosalie told Chiveton, "I would hate to bother Cosmic he can be so grouchy sometimes; besides I am scared to go inside his hollow branch, its always so dark in there, and it creaks" Rosalie added.

"Chiveton shook his head in agreement. "We'll go together if we need to, until then lets go to sleep and hope for a safe return by Amberlitte, Goodnight" he said. "Sweet dreams" Rosalie replied.
